Hello all,

I'm starting a trail on my blog here where I create
Space invaders using Groovy and Java 2D. (I'm also incorporating a Maven2
build in the mix.) I hope to demonstrate use of some very cool technologies
(Groovy, Java 2D, Open GL, and Maven2) and have fun at the same time. I'm
following another tutorial and recoding
the examples in Groovy. It's going to take me some time to get all the way
through but if anybody wants to review what I'm doing and comment on better programming techniques I'd appreciate it. It can be sort of like a
group or collaborative effort. The project will then be refactored to use
Open GL instead of Java 2D. I'm thinking I could add a few extra features
while I move along if I get the chance.

Oh sure, it's a tiny ad, but under the right circumstances, it gets bigger.
