Abstract classes have methods called abstract methods. And the interface methods? We can call the same? I think that's another name for these methods. I think I saw this in the kathy sierra's book for java certification. So,I don't remember...

I reckon methods in interfaces can reasonably be called "abstract methods", yes.

The interface attributes in default , public static final
and methods are abstract.

Methods are also public.
To clarify;
interface fields are implicitly or explicitly public, static and final.
interface methods are implicitly or explicitly public and abstract.
