Hi guys..... hope you can help me out with this.... we guys have planned to develop a P2P software as our final year project but are stuck up with a few things.....im not expecting someone here to help me out with the coding part but id like to know what classes can help me with what i want firstly.... how can one implement scanning a filesystem (searching for a file) and secondly how can one resume downloads. Thanks

For working with the file system, use class java.io.File. Look it up in the Java API documentation.

"...and secondly how can one resume downloads."

That sounds too vague to give any meaningful or useful answer to.
