There's the typical email to all staff every few days or so about a car with license number such-and-such in the parking lot with its lights on, and so forth.
But the admin staff at my work know no greater joy than announcing by email "lost" items that have been "found."
The other day I got this one:
Someone left a can of oysters in the ladies room on the first floor by the vending machines...
The mind boggles.
Who takes their groceries (or lunch) to the restroom? If this was indeed your can of oysters would you claim them?
(The first floor is located by the vending machines?)
Too, the email was in MS Comic Sans with a blue-sky-and-fluffy-white-clouds background. (MS Comic Sans is the font that, once, a colleague brought me a document printed in, with the request that I identify the font. I agreed to identify the font upon the condition that the colleague never, ever use it. She agreed. One down, millions to go.)

In my previous workplace, one day, some consultants managed to preserve their sense of humor even in a hectic schedule. They stuck a sign in our office restroom that read similar to what you usually find in restaurants- 'Employees must wash hands'
Was wondering what happens if local taverns start recruiting consultants

The story continues. Today I received this:
Someone left a jar of baby food in the ladies room down here by the vending machines... (Gerber's Broccoli and Carrots with Cheese).

First oysters, now baby food....whatever will I find next time??

(Still in MS Comic Sans.)
