hi,

i am trying to develop a application, where, a remote computer(mostly in a LAN) will b controlling my PC.

there will be a server program running in my computer and a client program at the a remote computer.

the client program can issue commands to open notepad, play a song, etc to the server program.

if the client program opens a notepad, and types anything in his computer, i need to recognize the keys just typed in and i need to send them to the server program. the server program some how should generate key strokes of the keys pressed in da remote system and write them into the notepad.

to make it simple. my computer will not have a keyboard. if i type some thing in my remote system, i need to recognize those keystrokes and send them to the server program, which in turn should generate the same keystrokes.

i have written two socket communication programs and i am able to recognize what i had just typed in my remote system using KeyStroke Class and am i am sending those details to the server program.

now i have no idea on how to generate keystrokes/ type in keys using a java program.

thank's in advance
