Just read a question in my local paper asking why there are stripey Cats and Horses etc but there appears to be no stripey dogs!
Thought I'd see if anybody in the global java world can think of any or have one in a kennel out the back of their house or attached to their slipper/cushion/leg as I write this.

How about the Thylacine for starters?, was that a dog anyway?

Dogs with "brindle" marking are stripey. This is mainly seen in Great Danes, Greyhounds, and Boxers. The stripes aren't as prominent or "clean-cut" as eg. a tabby cat though.

PS. I would have though Thylacine was more strictly a marsupial rather than a dog, despite its common name and appearance, and therefore wouldn't count.
