I have a panel which encloses two component 1) Panel on the top(named MainPanel) 2)JTabbenedPane

I have used BorderLayout...........with top panel as NORTH and JTabbedPane as CENTER. But my problem is that on the the mainPanel I have 3 labels. But the last label is hidden because of the JTabbedPane...........Is there any method by which I can bring this label on the top so that it becomes visible.

Please help!

not seen this before, but try this (taken to the extreme)

frame.getContentPane().setLayout(new BorderLayout(0,100));

Hey Micheal even I was quiet amazed seeing this problem.
Then finally what I did was, I set the dimension(only height) of the mainPanel a litte more and then the label was visible and the JTabbedPane got pushed slightly down relative to how much more I have put in the height

Anyways thanks for your help

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
