trouble with url connection

Hi all,

I have a problem with some piece of code and I cannot figure it why.
I have an url (http://www.bium.univ-paris5.fr/images/livres/41677/0001.jpg) which I can get via my browser.

However why I use some Java code to download it I get this useless error:

java.io.IOException: Server returned HTTP response code: 500 for URL: <a href="http://www.bium.univ-paris5.fr/images/livres/41677/0001.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://www.bium.univ-paris5.fr/images/livres/41677/0001.jpg</a>
        at sun.net.www.protocol.http.HttpURLConnection.getInputStream(HttpURLConnection.java:1245)
        at java.net.URL.openStream(URL.java:1009)
        at aTest.downloadFile(aTest.java:24)
        at aTest.main(aTest.java:43)

My piece of code to get this little monster to work is just below:

Do you have nay idea why it doesn't work? I am lost.

maybe the server rquires a user agent set.

try this:

  
 
URLConnection conn = url.openConnection();
conn.setRequestProperty("User-Agent", "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)"); 
InputStream in =  conn.getInputStream();

Tim, that felt like a great leap to me. The 500 documentation is especially unhelpful. Did you make the connection from experience or is there something else I totally missed?
