Hi,

What's required: I have to replace the key list.firstName with data in the list having dto object with the method called getFirstName.

What's Happening: First of all when i am going to extract the list from the ListDto which is having the method List getList , but the invoke method is returning the toString representation i.e. [ClassName@hashcode] so i am not able to do anything after that.

Ideally:It should have returned me the list so that i can invoke the get(x) on it and that getFirstName on the returned object.

Thanks Ilja Preuss,

I am able to solve the problem just one of those stupid mistakes involved in changing the customized code to generalized one.
