Hmmph...I guess I read JavaRanch more than I post. I just notices that I am approaching my 100th post and I've been registered since August '01 And I think that most of my posts have been within the past three months; not that I'd abandoned JavaRanch at anytime; I just didn't post a lot.
Compare this to The Moose, who hasn't been around two weeks yet and is already near half my total posts. When will The Moose overtake me?
I wonder what my Posting Density is...hmm...If I define Posting Density as number of days from first post to last post divided by number of posts...
April 11 '03 - August 15 '01 (using the middle of the month 'cause I don't remember the exact day)
604 days / 97 posts (counting this one) = 0.160596 posts per day, or roughly 6.2 days per post, meaning on average I've posted about once per week.
I'm not sure if this is somethign to be proud of or not, but I'm a tad bit bored here and was lettig my mind wander....

Our Moose friend registered April 1st... that's 11 days ago and it's already got 44 posts!

The reason you lost 9 or so posts is that we migrated to JForum in January 2009. It counts differently (and more correctly) than the old software. In particular, if a thread was moved from one forum to another, the old system counted it twice.
