Hi,

I want to do some validations like email, ipaddress, checking odd characters and some more.

I did all the validations in my local system and I kept those in server.

Now the problem is

In my local system jdk version is 1.4 and server version 1.3

I used regular expersions, but these are not supported on server side.

The whole code I wrriten was became usless, and now my another problem is

How to do those in JDK1.3?
Do you need to write every thing without using regular expression or there is any other solution.

Please help me in resolving this issue

Thanks in advance

Have a look at http://jakarta.apache.org/oro/ or http://jakarta.apache.org/regexp/
