Hello,
Welcome to Javaranch great place!! Your book index shows multithreading topic. My question is how much you have cover java.util.concurrent.locks because they are easy and better compare to synch blocks and wait. I have used lock and readwritelock with great success in SCJD exam but love to get some more examples and details for real world use (kinda pro and cons)

Thanks,
Ken

Hi Ken,

In the cookbook, I focus on Thread, Runnable, wait(), notify(), etc. The reason is that these are at the core of threading. There is also a lot of legacy code that uses them.

That said, I do have signficant coverage of the concurrent API in my book "Java: The Complete Reference". I also do have a couple of recipes that use the current API in the cookbook.
