Implementing Alpha-beta pruning

Hi all,

I am trying to develop a computerised version of Reversi/Othello.. I have researched quite a bit and one of the best search methods to use seems to be Alpha-Beta in this game. I do know the theory behind this search, and I have found some examples of the pseudocode algorithm, but I am still pretty overwhelmed.

Anyone know of some good site or boook that can ease me through the process of implementing an AI search method in Java? I'm not really sure where to start off
