Hi All,

I have a need to develop a desktop Java application (GUI), with networking capabilities and database operations.

Could you please suggest any framework which best suited for this?

Thanks,

There is no single "best" framework; it depends heavily on what you're trying to achieve with the framework, your application design, your (or your team's) pre-existing knowledge, and several other factors about which we know nothing.

Let's start by what you would like the framework to do for you. Can you tell us more about that?

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
