No doubt about it, .Net is very powerful in desktop apps.
Well, Java which is more of a server side language at the moment. unless we see somebody developed a fast, user-friendly Java desktop application.
well, Sun is still a hardware company, probably they'll drop their servicces soon .........

yes, with all the windows: 9x, 2000, xp... installed on pc.
