Hello Javaranchers,

I have a requirement which I am not quite sure about how to proceed with its implementation.

I need to generate a HTTP Request from my desktop JAVA application. Could anyone please provide some brief idea for accomplishing this task ?

Kind regards,
Hardik Raja

You should find This JavaWorld Article a good place to start. You might also look up the Apache HttpClient package, which will make life easier.
