Hi friends,

I have a project in which i need to built a multilingual SMS system.

For that i need to perform Transliteration using Java.(this is a computer application and i am NOT using J2ME)

Does anybody have any idea on how to perform transliteration in Java.

Do we have any pre built classes for it?

Expecting a quick reply.

Thanks

Do you mean fully automated translation of an arbitrary text from one language into another? There's nothing for that in the Java API (or any free 3rd party product I know of). This is still in the realm of research, and the results so far do not encourage one to hope that a fully automated solution can be expected any time soon.
