I need a voice recorder for my school to record the lectures of the professor .I would appreciate if you guys can give me any suggestion .

For 25USD you can buy a walkman like voice recorder which uses 60 or 90mins cassettes for recording.

If you can afford a Minidisc recorder that'll be great for lectures:
You can set labelled tags while recording (tag a portion by what the lecturer is talking about) so you can instantly find it later instead of scanning the whole recording.
Also discs can record upto 4 times their natural length depending on the model of player, so you could get a maximium of around 290 minutes on one disc.
They are small, look cool and if you get a PC enabled one, you can put your mp3s on to disc too. One day someone might even hack the Sony encryption so you can use the discs like real portable storage, but I doubt it
Downsides, expensive initially and you can't record disc to disc. Also you'll need to buy a mic.
