Reading the windows SID  RSS feed

I need to read the SID number of the windows machine on which my java applcation is running. Anyone know how to do it?

According to Wikipedia, you can get the value from the Windows registry. Either you can use a JNI approach, e.g. JNIRegistry, or try and hack the JVM like shown here. I have no idea how well either work... If you know the output comes from a command, you can always Runtime.exec that command and process the output.
