Hi I got quick reply to my first query regarding JVM. I read in a book saying that the JVM really slows the things down. is it so ? And when does the just-in-time compiler tool comes into act ? What is this just-in-time compiler tool ?
The JVM really slows things down compared to what??? If you are running Java, you NEED a JVM of some sort. Perhaps your question is more about "Java being slower" rather than the "JVM being slower"???
