what's the meaning of radix in java, what's the use of this radix, how many places use of this. if possible give an example

The term "radix" is used to describe the "base" in which a number is described. Binary numbers are in radix 2, Hexadecimal numbers are in radix 16, decimal numbers are expressed in radix 10 and so on.
