As an avid viewer of Nigella Lawson's cooking shows.. I often find it hard to decided which / who is more tasty Nigella or the crappy food she is cooking.
Those producers of the show also know about this and devote more camera time to her than the food. Anyone else interested in a Nigella fan club??

Richard,
Where did a woman like Nigella come from in UK? Like the old joke about British women, that all the pretty women in England are french

You can also play the Nigella drinking game.
Simply watch an episode of one of her cookery shows, and have a drink when she uses the word "love".
Put it this way she uses that word so often I reckon shes got a whole lotta lovin to give out

Interesting to note that Nigella has just as many male viewers as female viewers. I wonder if all men are actually interested in the food or something else.. hmmmm...

I'm surprised that they show that TV show in the States (nothing wrong with that of course!). What other programs do you get from the UK? Have you seen loveable, cheeky, cockney boy-chef Jamie Oliver yet? You're in for a treat...love him or hate him is the take on him in the UK.

Ha! Only because lots of English women moved there. There are plenty of pretty women in the UK. You just got to know where to look (if you need any help just ask me )
Nigella reminds me of an old school friend's mother. I was about 16. She was a post lady. Her round used to coincide with my paper round. She used to smile and say hi to me every morning and I used to blush and shuffle around and mumble something about being late for my papers. Daft. Oh happy days...

She's the daughter of one time English conservative MP Nigel Lawson - who would instantly put you off your thoughts of Nigella!

Those from Londons East end are traditionally referred to as Cockneys. The story goes that to be a true Cockney you had to have been be born within the sound of the Bow Bells in the East End of London. More here...
Mockney = someone who pretends to be cockney by speaking like one (because some people think it gives them street cred...). Other famous mockneys: Blur, Nigel Kennedy.
