I am looking for a way to convert, on-the-fly, from a foxpro db, an .rtf (rich text format) record to ASCII. Basically, the records are stored in the db as .rtf and I will need to dump these records to a flat file without the embedded tags. Thanks in advance.

Please don't post the same question in multiple forums - it just wastes time of people who don't know if the question has already been answered. I'm closing this thread - see Java in General - Intermediate for followups.
