Can anyone tell me in which JAR file are the SWING classes packed? I have "tools.jar", "dt.jar" in my JDKhome/lib directory.
Then I have some JARs in JDKhome/jre directory. How to find out in which of these JARs are the SWING classes available?
I am using JDK1.2.2 for Windows.
Thanks,
Senthil.

All the classes are in the < Java dir >/jre/lib/rt.jar file.

However, if you want to look at the source, it is in src.jar, in the Java directory. That is, if you chose the "with sources" option when you got the JDK...

Swing classes are in the javax.swing package.
If you look at the source like Nathan said, you'll see the java.lang package and others including the javax.swing package
