Hi all,
As some of you might have noticed we have passed the 50 mark on the assignment log (including 11 inactive students).
To keep the log up to date has become quit a task. To ease my life a bit I've decided to ask you to try adhering to the following rules: -

  • One reply per person on the Assignment Log topic.
  • When you post a new reply. pse remove the old reply/ies.
  • Use the following format when posting you status.
    Assignment: Java-1b Hundred
    Attempt: 4
  • Use the full name for the assignment as on http://www.javaranch.com/cattledrive.jsp
  • Clearly indicate the version a or b (if there is one)

  • Pse note :You can still use your reply to pass messages to other students. Remember the log was started as a motivational tool.
How to delete your old reply:
    • Next to your user-id there is a line with the date timestamp and 4 icons
    • Select the
    • On the screen that appears there is a Delete? check box. Select it.
    • Press the Submit Now button

Are we still allowed to continue to edit our previous replies as opposed to posting a new one and deleting the old?

You are allowed to do whatever you want Matthew.
However by deleting the old reply and posting a new reply you do make my life easier. So I would appreciate it if you would take the time to do it that way.
Thanks.

I will start deleting the old reply and adding a new one to make it easier on you. I appreciate the extra time you are taking in motivating us so I'll do anything I can to assist you.
