For fear of political persecution, I chose not to display my score!
However, I would be interested in knowing where Noam Chomsky would fit on this political Cartesian coordinate system.

Interesting the number of left-leaning libertarians in the group . And for whatever reason, I'm right in the mix, although I'd hardly list myself in either group.
Because of that, I tested the scoring - all Strongly Agree, and you get 0, +4.36, with all Strongly Disagree, you get 0, -4.36, so the thing doesn't look to be rigged.

Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.00
Also, got 6 right in iconochasms. I thought I was on a roll when I got the first three in a row correct, but it was not to last...
OK, so was I the only one who thght we should flip the whole graph around the y = -x line and relabel the axes so that "libertarian left" becomes "chaotic good"? Actually that makes a certain amount of sense for law vs. choas - the left/right thing doesn't map as well. Plus I suppose we really should keep left and right on, well, the left and right.

Speaking about "chaotic good", "left" and "right", does anybody has an idea why banners for this thread are
"Great variety of old Russian and soviet paintings"
and
"Russian and Soviet realist art"?

Imagine a huge continent divided into areas based on governmental style. The further north you went the more authoritarian the government, the further west, the more the state controlled the economy. Your position on the map shows were you'd be happiest living based on your responses to the questionnaire.
The north/south axis placements seem predictable but I'm suprised at the east/west results. I expected more people to live over in the east.
To make the map 3D (a universe divided by governmental style) I wonder what the third axis should measure? Maybe importance of spirituality/God in terms of how much it effects your life?

Eh, that may just be a matter of what the quiz designers chose to define as the middle. Just drag the origin about 3-4 to the left and 2 down. Then we look like a much more balanced group. Well, except Vi Kam.

I think that's already in the current quiz results to some extent - at least, questions about the role of organized religion seem to influence the authoritarian / liberal mapping. But I suppose the 3 attributes don't have to be orthogonal; if correlations do indeed exist (e.g. religious == authoritarian and non-religious == liberal) then a graph like this is a good way to find them.
