There have been some decent albums coming out this year, including Lucinda Williams. Little disappointed there wasn't more going on in Santana's "Shaman." I recommend the Jayhawks "Rainy Day Music" too. And Coldplay -- nice, but they must play in some swooning-chick frequency I can't register. I don't see what everyone's getting to wet about.
What are you listening to that you'd recommend? I'm in Atlanta this week and I need some new tunes.

Depending on the sort of mood you're in, I've been listening to India Arie, who makes a strong argument that talent is a wondrous thing to behold. I've also been listening to acoustic Willie Nelson and/or Johnny Cash( who's been everywhere, man). late nights, it's Nick Drake or the replacements, depending on how social I feel.

Keeps out all those tiresome shits who want to talk about Java.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
