I am trying to get a third party JNI utility (MDL Cheshire)to work on Solaris 8. I can get it to work on Solaris 7. I can reproduce the error message on the Solaris 7 installation by renaming the .so file or moving it out of the LD_LIBRARY_PATH. I am using jre 1.3.1. Any suggestions on where to start debugging the installation would be greatly appraciated.
