Whats the difference between Stacks add() and push()? Don't they have the same effect?

The overloaded form add(int index,Object element)
allows you to specify index on which element is to be added, apart from that the return type is also different.

push() and add() have the same effect. Stack class extends Vector so it inherits all of its methods.

Thanks again, buddies...
Addition, I'm wondrin why the return type of Vector.add(obj) is boolean and not just void just like addElement(obj)? Is there an event that it return false? How?

Take a look at the Vector class documentation and subsequently the Collection interface documentation.
