Hello fellow ranchers! I've been in the process of moving and finishing some contract work the past month and a half. I was laid off in July and now have an absolutely terrific job with USAA in San Antonio as a Java Systems Analyst. I'm making more money and the benefits are incredible, they will pay $5600 a year to continue college and for all my IT certifications.
Anyway, it's nice to be able to post in MD again! Thanks especially to that Ugly Redneck that was willing to help me out when this all started.

Welcome Back Gramps!!
We all missed you very much. Hopefully you've gotten upto speed on all the current discussions and can jump right into the mess created by Joe Pluta, Map and myself.

Who the hell is Paul McKenna? Unfortunately it's Grandpa's bedtime right now. I'm still filling waterbeds and unpacking. Tomorrow I can catch up. Just got my computer up and running today.

Paul McKenna is the new assumed identity of the Infidel Information minister. With so many hollywood producers looking for me, I have to conceal my identity.

Welcome back, Michael, -- we missed you. I was kinda pissed because I had to do all the work for you in Advanced Java, but now that you are back, I can focus on MD.

I'm glad to be back. Programming in C# for 3 months wasn't a lot of fun but I did get to compare the two languages. C# does have some pluses, like boxing of primitives, but there are no checked exceptions so you can get lazy sometimes. It is very easy to learn for a Java programmer and datasets are very easy to use and easily serialized into XML.
Anyway Eugene, appreciate the help and maybe I can get back to moderating in JIG Advanced.
