sorry, i think you did the math wrong.
being a math teacher, i picked the number.... x.
following the steps, i get
1) x
2) 2x
3) 2x + 5
4) 100x + 250
5) 100x + 250 + 1753 (my bday was in april)
= 100x + 2003 (what a co-incidence!!! this happens to be THIS YEAR!!!)
6) 100x + 2003 - 1968 = 100x + MY AGE!!!
you should always get your original number in the hundreds place.
