I came across this site a while ago, but now they either added more pictures (hidden behind a black arrow), or I did not notice it the first time. Anyway, thought I should share this link... I am not a big fan of abstract painting, but these pictures mysterioulsy resonate with something in me. There is some deep harmony in her colors and shapes, more than I've ever seen.

They *are* good for abstract art. This one I would stop to look at for more than 5 minutes. (The rest remind me of patchwork after a while- sorry I don't get Picasso either).

I like paintings that suggest movement and life. I wonder if you can use black and white only to appreciate movement and life on a serious note. Cartoons and carricatures end up being funny.
I like this one, too, for the above reason.

regards

My favorite, too. Peaceful, clear, and content.

The first one is beginning to take on Tolkienesque qualities.

Looks like something first graders would paint.

Interesting. I also love her "black-and-white" pictures, but I thought it's because this is pretty much how Russia looks like in winters.
Here is one I like:

I missed that one. That's cool.
This painting is nice too.
A banana plantation.

She also has some work that reminds me of Bushmen art. Reminds me of some beautiful silk paintings I picked up near the Kalahari for a few quid. Never hung them up, though, as I never found the right place for them.

I would describe them as "trivial".

Umm, I would not thank God for it, unless you think that being "normal" is a virtue.

Its a rare behavior in homo sapiens now
