Well, incase you didn't read my first post, this is a continuation of that with a question (so I suggest reading it first).
As I said previously, my teacher downloaded a program for Java, something called "JavaNetBeans" I believe, I don't have the url with me. Regardless, we have no clue how to use it, or where to compile it, because it keeps giving us an error when we try to.
I'm guessing it's something really simple, and i'll get the link on here as soon as possible, unless someone else posts it first.
So here's my "question": should I stick with this program, or is there a much simpler and easier one for learning/compiling basic Java.
Thanks!
p.s. we already have a translator that is "supposed" to work with this program, I'll get the link for that too.
p.p.s as I stated before, I and extremely new at this, and probably used bad terminology, but you'll get that for a big  . Correct me when i'm wrong.
and plz, no ing, anyone.

Howdy,
Welcome to JavaRanch!
We don't have too many rules round these parts, but we do have a naming policy that requires you to have a display name that, if it's not your real name, at least plausibly could be your real name. Most folks around here use their real names anyway -- keeps us honest. Please head over here and change your display name, pronto!
Thanks pardner. See you around the Ranch!

This page might help you get started even though you may decide to not join the Cattle Drive. I, too, would recommend against using NetBeans to begin to learn Java. Sun's Java tutorial is also a good place to get some of the basics.
