Hi, Good day to you! My name is Ryan and I am based in London studying Multimedia. Just doing this module in Java. I have to create this Java Ticket Machine program.
Basically, I have to simulate a train or underground tube ticket machine. User inputs destination, pretends to enter an amount of money and gets a ticket with virtual change. I wondered if any of you guys could point me to any good tutorial sites that cover stuff like this that might be an additional aid to the textbooks I'm reading.
All the best and kind regards,

Welcome to JavaRanch, Ryan!
Do feel free to post more specific questions about some code that you're working on, and don't hesitate to post relevant code.
In the mean time...
Here is a list of free on-line Java tutorials and books that I have found useful:
  • Sun's Java Tutorial
