Hi, I was wondering how i can play an mp3 file in java. I have downloaded javaLayer from the sun web site, but i am not sure exactly how to play a file or what classes to use for it.
Can anyone help me?

Last I know is that MP3 functionality in the sound APIs is still an RFE (request for enhancement) which would mean you'll need some 3rd party library instead.
Simplest would be to search for it using your favourite search engine.

I prefer using QuickTime For Java packages.
Because even they provide a gui api.
