Hi!
I want to make a method that lunches an html on my browser...(With out using GUI or using Runtime.exec() method).
For example :

public void showHTMLdoc(String Filename)
{
...
...
}

and when i am calling this method somewere in my application , the
.html document would be lunched via my browser.
(Without Networking of course or making a link on Swing GUI).

I hope that this is simple.I am stuck...

Thanks for any kind of help.

There's no way to launch an external process like a browser without using Runtime.exec(). It's possible to view the HTML in Java using the JEditorPane class, but you've also said you can't use a GUI. So you're stuck basically because you've been given an impossible set of requirements. Want to tell us a bit more about how you found yourself in this position?

It should be possible if you use swt+jface (but only on pure window boxes). You can use ole integration. I don't think that this is easily possible with swing.

If Ole is good and stable enough technology for your needs is different question. Here's link on Eclipse.org search:

Haven't tried it myself, though
