I am beginning to learn Java and I seem to see some Java++ each time I search for materials (tutorials) When I tried to follow each link, I go nothing definite.
Is there need to change to Java++ which sounds like (better as in ++)?
What is or are the differences btw the two if the later Java++ exists?
Thanks. Can somebody pls mail me a copy of his/her ebook on Java 2 for beginners. I'd be most grateful, I live in a country where most of these books cannot be shipped to from online websites.

Java++ is a (long unsupported) Microsoft implementation of Java. Its not Sun specification compliant and you should ignore references to it.

King,

I don't know if the ebook you are referring to is available for free or not but you should be aware that we at JavaRanch strongly discourage any activity, including solicitations like yours, that involves or potentially involves copyright infringement. Please edit your post accordingly.

Thanks for your cooperation.

there is no Java++.
Microsoft released Visual J++ as part of their Visual Studio package which has now been withdrawn.

    Is "King" your real first name? I'm guessing not. In which case...

    I am grateful to all ur comments and posts. I am now very informed and will continue to pursue my Java course. Sorry if breached any copyright laws. Ignorance might not be accepted but it stands and I know it that I asked just to be informed and my name Dirk and others who care to know really is Joshua Chiemelie King and I am not claiming any author's name. Anyway I have changed my profile to read K. Joshua C. Thanks

    I don't get it. A whale wearing overalls? How does that even work? It's like a tiny ad wearing overalls.
