HELP!!! I am new to this forum and very "green" about JAVA. so "greenhorn" suits me right. I am having trouble. Everytime my child tries to play games online, (pogo for example) he gets this reading, "Java not found or not working" I follow the examples of the downloads and searches and still nothing. I really need you guys valuable opinion cause I am starting to drag out the baseball bat. I am running Windows ME on Explorer 6 if that helps with the solution. THANKS for anyone taking the time to read this and a GREAT BIG THANK YOU if you can help.

"lightn13",

We're pleased to have you here with us on the Ranch, but there are a few rules that need to be followed, and one is that proper names are required. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.

Thanks!

Also this forum is for questions on build tools. I'm moving this post to a more appropriate forum Java in General(beginner) for you.
