Hi,
I have learnt to syntaxes of Java and have managed to write some code also. Now I want to look into some professionally written code. So I have enrolled at java.net so that I can download source code of few open source projects and have a look into the code. I have a few questions regarding this

1. Is there any way to get the source code of any project other than using CVS? Say some tar file or something like that. I cannot use CVS because I access the site from my office and access is blocked. So if I get another way to download the source (even from other open source java projects), it will be of great help.
2. Are there any other publicly hosted open source projects? If yes, URLs will be of much use.

TIA,
Babu
