im very close to finishing :
Teach Yourself Borland JBuilder and Java 2 In 21 Days By SAMS.

as u see im a begginer in java...with some experience in c# , vb.net ,c++.
im looking for my next book....im using Jbuilder2005.
any recommendations for a good begginers book???

Good books are described and rated at the Bunkhouse area of Javaranch.

My personal favorite was Deitel & Deitel, read the whole thing cover to cover and a few chapters several times over. Good website too.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
