Hello everyone! I am a newbie, excuse my ignorance.
I want to write code that communicates with an applet. The applet is created by another website and I want to collect data from it. Where should I look?

I'm pretty sure your name violates the naming policy around here. It also sounds like you might be trying to do something that wouldn't be very popular with most people. But if not, and you have control over this applet code, then you could have the applet communicate with a program back on the server (but I think it has to be the same server that the applet was downloaded from). you should Google around for some tutorials and maybe get a book or two.

Indeed, theo zzz, your name does fail to meet the JavaRanch Naming Policy. (We are looking for, if not your real name, something that could be your real name. Please change your display name here
