Don't you think that there are some disadvantages hiring female secretary.
-- Can not do much overtime.
-- Can not become so harsh on her as compared to male
-- Longer leave during pregnancy
-- Frequent travel is a problem due to other restriction.
But i too prefer female secretary.Ofcource beautiful and intelligent

Hiring female secretary comes from the fact that majority if managers are men.Imagine you as a secretary.Whom one will you prefer as your boss?Female ,right?Getting/giving orders from/to opposite sex is not considered as abusive as one from same sex.

disagree. I was told someday that the name "secretary" "inherit" from secret. Women are better with confidentiality and good at keeping secrets, and that's what bosses are looking for.

I think women only entered secretarial/clerk type employment on mass as the work became more and more deskilled and the men in charge decided the work had become sufficiently "non-taxing" for the women's fragile mind and body, prone, as we all know, to bouts of hysteria and pregnancy.

I think you are all being too polite about this.
The basic fact is that most men have a fantasy about having sex with their secretary, which means they will tend to hire an attractive female secretary rather than a sweaty 50-year old former truck driver.

frequently.Then what will happen to our business secretes if she
