I was wondering if there are other sites like http://www.sourcecodequality.com where you can check the (so called) quality of your code. sCQ says it checks the java file against about 80 rules, but I would like to see websites with more advance checks.
Google for java static code analysis or analyzer. There are a number of commercial products and a few free ones that point out some of the most common bugs and do a ton of (not very useful) style checks. In a large system it's worth watching your package dependencies. JDepends does a nice job of reporting Robert Martin's metrics but the output is pretty hard to follow.
A good question is never answered. It is not a bolt to be tightened into place but a seed to be planted and to bear more seed toward the hope of greening the landscape of the idea. John Ciardi
What a show! What atmosphere! What fun! What a tiny ad!
