Anyone here been to the JavaOne conference and if so, what is the best hotel to stay in in terms of location of the sessions?

2 years ago I stayed at the San Francisco Marriott:

Very nice hotel, nice breakfast, RIGHT across the street from the convention center. If you can spend the money to stay there -- I highly recommend it.
last year I stayed at the Courtyard Marriott:

A little bit further of a walk (2-3 blocks?), nice hotel, little sketchier location -- but plenty of JavaOne folks stayed there.

Yep, 2nd vote for the Marriott on 4th St.
It's got one of my favourite bars in the city, "the view", up on the 39th floor (I think).
Awesome views (especially if you can grab a table looking out towards Twin Peaks and the Golden Gate bridge), great place to have a couple of cold ones after a session at JavaOne

Do you have any budget restrictions?

Not really. Part of my negogiations for my job was a yearly trip to this conference - all fees, hotel, air fare, food, etc., although I don't want to be extravagant. I don't need a splendid room. Something functional with easy access to all the session breakouts. . .
Are you going to be at the conference this year?
