Apparently I offended someone because they went to amazon and gave me negative votes on all my reviews. This is more amusing than it is annoying because (1) amazon removes voting like that which they can easily detect and (2) negative votes have virtually zero effect on ranking.
If it was someone from JavaRanch I wish they would grow up.

Of course it could also be a certain individual who posts reviews under various pseudonyms on Amazon who has also had words with you in the past.

Yup. That sort of thing happens. It's about asd childish an act as I can imagine. This is just opinions. Anything outside of MD is the real world. The two should be separate (and if they're not, you might want to reduce your MD time ).

Whats more worrying is that someone took the time and effort to go through your reviews and comprehensively negatively mark them.
Congratulations! You have your own stalker. I hope shes a 20 year old red head swimsuit model or your heck out of luck my friend!

I notice that on Jan 10, 2004 Java Web Services Architecture received yet another 5-star review - this one from a "Paul Thomas". Yeah, right...

Though if you're going to have two first names, it's even cooler if one of them is Damien. So tell me though - are there any Omen jokes you haven't heard?

No, I have heard too many.
The ironic thing about the association of my name with that silly film, is that Damien is the only name attributed to two saints (not demons) in the Orthodox Christianity. (Or at least so I've been told, I don't really follow the religion so I'm taking peoples' word that this is the case)
I was irritated by all the idiots who always had to bring up the Omen eveytime they heard my name, but it doesn't bother me now. Especially if you think of all the poor children named after Osama or Saddam. I read there was a lot of people changing their name, or their children's name after Saddam was taken out.

I'm amused! Frankly, I thought the same thing as well.. Omen Part 2, where Damien is menacing. I love the hanuting background church choir like music in the Omen, anyone knows where I can find such music.
