So far as I know, there have jasperreports, iReport, openreport,and there sourceforge homepage. I can't find other useful materials about report except their docs.

I think Jasper Report Designer or iReport both are best for you.

You can use any of these reporting tools for a J2EE application. Note that JasperReports and jFreeReport are reporting engines, while tools like iReport are design utilities. (iReport is for Jasper).

Generally, for a J2EE application, the report request is submitted to the server, the report runs, and the result of the report is sent back to the client. (Jasper supports output to HTML and PDF formats, both of which are easily viewed in web browsers.)

what i need to do is to design a web report generator..
just like openreport.
but i can't get materials about openreport.and something related to that .except the docs.
The Jasperreports Ultimate Guide is a good one. any other materials?
