Hey there-
Did it ever happen to you that you were going out some place and u were about to switch off the TV but took a minute or two to see what was on. later on when you come back and sit late night in front of the TV, you watch the same scene (if not exactly, gradually it leads to the same scene) that you watched while you were going out? it's not just in the same day, happens over a period of days too. there's been movies that i never got to sit and watch coz i was always busy but i've always watched the same bit of the movie that i miss over and over again .. ...hope this is meaningless enough to feature in this thread

If someone has SKYone they can watch the same episode of the simpsons over and over again into eternity.
If you have UKHistory then you will find yourself watching the same set of programs in the afternoon as in the morning, and the evening too.

it's called reruns, and commercial stations in Europe are really good at it.
There's some stations that have programming repeating itself twice (or three times) a day with a weekly schedule.
So they have one set of programs for monday (running from midnight to noon and again from noon to midnight, one set for tuesday, etc.
This is then repeated every week for say a month before being replaced by another set.
I've seen some stations so desperate to get cheap TV shows that they run reruns of gameshows several times a day and just run the same batch again a few months later...
And of course there's the eternal series that never die like M*A*S*H* and the A-team which I've probably all seen ten times or more yet never (and that's rare) tire of
