Recently, I saw yet another "goodbye all" speech from someone leaving the JavaRanch. Why do people even begin posting in moderated forums if they don't like the idea of being moderated? Moderation has advantages and disadvantages that we all know and understand, being sentient, fairly intelligent beings with brains the size and weight of an average cantaloupe. Heck, *this* message could get deleted. I'm posting it with that understanding, and taking that risk. I will not complain to the masses and issue a teary-eyed "goodbye world" if it does, because I know this is a possibly *before* I hit the "Add New Topic" button. Sheesh. sev
Why do people even bother joining public forums if they find it necessary to criticize someone else's post? Or maybe I've answered my own question. Joe
I think this is the best thread to say that I also need break from being sophomoric. And moderators were always kind enough to first send me the threatening "warning mails" [even for quote in my signature ]. Frankly all moderators are doing very well in their own intelligence. And do remember, I said "break" not good-bye Happy MDing
