Better send an email to the one who send you the voucher. Since the purpose for the voucher is for you to take SCBCD 5.0 due to the poor testing environment, it makes no sense for a long validity period. But it is also too troublesome to distingish the voucher for you and others, so, normal case should be applied.

Anyway, just check with Prometric.

Why not? There is no more beta test, only the oficial test. And to the oficial test, Sun give you a voucher with 1 year of expiration date.

Amand went to the test center to take the test. He had a very, very, bad experience here... And he could not take a new beta test in a better Prometric center, because there is no more beta, only the official test.

Sun could just close your eyes and say that what happened was due a Prometric error - "I'm really sorry, but you cannot take a new beta test now, you have to purchase a official voucher, and pay for it". But Sun is giving Amand a new oportunity to take the test - they could do not do it, but they are doing, and it was great to Amand!

So, if Sun is giving Amand a voucher to the official test, why it makes no sense its validity for a long validity period? It�s because we took the beta test, with a limited time to study, 5 hours of test and a lot of questions? We could wait for the official test too, pay for the voucher, take less questions, less hours... But we, as Amand choose to take the beta test. And is not Amand fault what happened in the Prometric center.

I am also in the same confusion,i have already e-mailed prometric regarding this,but didn't got any reply yet.So let's hope for the best,as i have my exams in march so it would be rather tough for me to go on both,and i hope the validity is 1 year,although i need only 4 months validity.

Luiz i think you are technically very much right,there should be validity of 1 year i suppose,but

1) The voucher was given by Thompson Prometric ,as they accepted as there fault,Miss Evelyn was the one who conveyed this message to Prometric,and asked for the explaination, i suppose.
Because i recieved the email from [email protected]

If this is the case,than i think i will not have nay problem with it,
but still i would like this to be confirmed,because they have said i can give when the Final Exam is released in Feburary,i have a little doubt that is this thing related to the validity.

I read this post on the prometric testing centers and I have had a couple of equally bad experiences. I scheduled a test online and the center was actually closed on that particular day. There was no one to contact at prometric and when I contacted them the next day, they would not acknowledge the mistake and blamed it on the actual center for not updating their actual vacation list online. They updated my status online to a "No Show" for no fault of mine and no matter what I said, they would not change that status. They ofcourse gave me a new appointment date but that was little consolation.

One other time, had the same problem with constant phone calls and people using the exam room for all kinds of activities.

Forget about the quality of service you get when you call prometric here in the US. The average wait can be anywhere between 10 minutes to one hour.

I have realised over time that the best place to take an exam is the testing center actually owned by prometric themselves. All their franchises are just not ideal test taking places and they are not really bothered about the person taking the exam. If you have a prometric testing center in your area, call them and confirm they are not a franchise and that they are owned by prometric themselves.

I think you should contact prometric website for this,because the exam candidates are us,and in the end if there is any suffering its going to be to us,rather than happening something like that i would like we bring our problems in the eyes of prometric,because we are paying for exams and we should get proper service against it,so that they also know the reality about the conditions of the centers because i have heard that when they give center to a franchise there is no such rule to visit the center for inspection,they give it by just seeing the snaps of the center,which appeared ackward to me.
