I hope they did the testing on their jar files with no bugs in those programmes and works exactly as what the API says.

I am a consultant that has been working on amdocs implmentations for over 8 years..

I am surprised that the kind of crap Amdocs produces inspires some one to write a blog about it.

I still have string feelings about Amdocs(3 months after leaving the company)

Why many people blaim their previous employer, blame their previous managers ,I don't understand.I too worked with Amdocs people 3 years backs, but I found them very intelligent.Culture of sending loads of people at client's place was same as any big Indian IT company but I did not find objectionable in people's knowledge.Majority of them were from Israel.

I also worked for other places before working for Amdocs. But, I don't crib about the others.

I too agree that u get to work with intelligent co-workers with Amdocs. Only problem is management does not care(at least in US standards) and extremely one-sided towards their Israeli brethren.

I have a friend who works for Siemens in Dallas, USA. He has good opinions about working for them. I am not sure about the TCS aspect for freshers though.

I think TCS is great for career start in India. My cousin started working there recently. He had support experience for 2 years but they put him on Database side as it was his interest.
No idea for about other companies.
